Second Debate Tournament!

On Saturday, February 2, 2019, I attended my second ever debate tournament at Seattle University. We were assigned two topics to prepare for before the tournament. We were also given an impromptu topic that we only had 20 minutes to prepare for at the tournament. My team debated three different teams from different schools, and we ended up winning two out of the three debates, which I was reasonably satisfied with. However, something that really startled me was the awards ceremony. The two top speakers from each school are awarded a medal. And to my surprise, I received a medal!
